Lyndon C. Jones, LICSW  is a licensed independent clinical social worker in Massachusetts. He began working in mental health 30 years ago. While working as a mental hygiene therapy aide in a New York State psychiatric center, he earned a bachelors degree in psychology and a masters degree in social work.

Steve Elkin, LICSW is a licensed independent clinical social worker with a professional background in individual and group counseling services.  Beginning as a community based prevention specialist in Long Island City, N.Y., he received his masters degree in social work from Columbia University in 1974.  Moving to the greater Boston area, he has worked with troubled adolescents and their families, adults with chronic depression and anxiety issues, adults having experienced substance abuse and trauma and with adults and seniors with chronic medical and psychiatric issues including dementia.             

In addition to working with the seriously mentally ill, Dr. Jones has worked with the developmentally disabled designing, implementing and monitoring behavior plans. In 1994 she entered private practice with her husband, Lyndon Jones. Together they offer psychotherapy to adults and children.

Dr. Jones is trained in PREP, a premarital and marital training program. She is also a trained life coach. Dr. Jones is the owner and founder of Pluck Press. Her book, Not of My Making, was published in June, 2008.

Utilizing his formal training in community organization he has developed programs for high school drop outs, returning veterans and others. He has worked in community mental health centers with an emphasis on addiction and post traumatic stress disorder. In addition to his private practice he works for the Veterans Administration as a team leader of a vet center. Mr. Jones also has been trained in PREP, a pre-marital program designed to teach engaged couples and young newly weds the skills needed to make their marriage a success.

Margaret W. Jones, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in Massachusetts. She began working in mental health as a therapy aide in a New York state psychiatric center while she was completing her undergraduate degree. She enjoyed the work so much that she added psychology as a major and graduated with a double major in women’s studies and psychology. After giving birth to her children she returned to graduate school and finished a doctorate in psychology.
